Our Vision: Empowering Experience through Podcasts

The Voice of Seniors is an official Erasmus+ project dedicated to bridging the digital gap and giving a voice to older adults across Europe. We believe that life experience is a treasure that deserves to be shared, and podcasting is the perfect modern medium to amplify these stories.

Project Objectives

Our initiative focuses on three main pillars designed to create a lasting impact on both educators and senior citizens:

• Empowering Educators: We provide access to a free, step-by-step training course specifically tailored for educators. The program teaches how to design, record, and edit podcasts that are accessible and engaging for senior audiences.
  
• Activating Seniors: Our platform serves as a space where seniors can share their rich life experiences, passions, and stories with a broader European audience. This process fosters active citizenship and social connection.
  
• Inspiring Podcasts: We host a collection of unique audio series created by seniors and partner organisations. These recordings explore a wide range of important topics, from local history and culture to global challenges like climate change.

The Educational Journey

To support our mission, we have developed a comprehensive Podcast Training Course divided into six specialized modules:

1. Concept & Evaluation: Brainstorming and evaluating unique podcast ideas.
2. Content & AI: Preparing scripts and discovering how AI can assist in the creative process.
3. Equipment & Recording: Mastering the technical basics of microphones and recording software.
4. Audio Editing: Learning how to cut, mix, and polish audio for a professional sound.
5. Video Podcasts: Exploring the fundamentals of recording and formatting video content.
6. Publishing & Promotion: Learning how to upload content to platforms like Spotify and reach a global audience.
